Dr.-Ing. Judith Fauth is Researcher at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Germany at the Chair of Computing in Civil and Building Engineering starting in April 2025
Before her current role, Judith was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoc Fellow at the University of Cambridge, postdoctoral researcher at Technische Universität Wien, and researcher in the iECO project at RIB Software GmbH in Germany. She also completed research stays in the USA, Italy, New Zealand, and Israel. Judith earned her Doctorate in Engineering from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in 2021, receiving awards in Germany and Austria for her dissertation. Holding a Bachelor in Architecture and a Master in Facility and Real Estate Management, her research since 2016 has focused on digitalizing building permits, with emphasis on project and process management. She has published widely and contributes to EUnet4DBP, the Digital Building Permit Conferences, and related committees.

Dr. Ibrahim Fahdah is a BIM expert with extensive experience in digital transformation across Dubai’s construction industry. He contributed significantly to the development and implementation of the Dubai BIM Platform and Dubai BIM Standards. Dr. Fahdah holds a PhD in Computing in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK. With over 15 years of technical experience, he has supported AEC companies worldwide in developing digital services tailored to their needs.

Nicholas Nisbet was involved with several pioneering BIM application from the 1970’s onwards. Since 2001 he has been a consultant on process and information improvement for the built environment. He has contributed to Government initiatives, several EU and UK research projects and to several key ISO, UK and buildingSMART standards. He is currently developing a PhD thesis on removing the barriers to automated compliance checking.
